• <br /> Sections 7 -3 -590 thru <br /> 7 -3 -593 <br /> TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 3 Zoning <br /> Section 7 -3 -590: ENFORCING OFFICER. That officer of the City responsible <br /> for the issuance of building permits, in this chapter referred to as the enforcing <br /> officer, shall also be responsible for control over the issuance of Zoning Approvals <br /> as defined and as regulated in this Chapter. The term.includes any employee <br /> acting as a designated.deputy in carrying out any of the duties or in exercising <br /> any of the powers herein assigned to the said - officer. <br /> Section 7 -3 -591: ENFORCING OFFICER - POWERS AND DUTIES. The enforcing <br /> officer shall have the power, and it shall be his duty to enforce the provisions <br /> of .this Chapter, to initiate action for the abatement of any violation thereof, <br /> and to do'all things required of him by the following regulations. <br /> Section 7 -3 -592: ENFORCING OFFICER - INVESTIGATION AND REPORT. <br /> The enforcing officer shall have the power to make or cause to be made such <br /> investigations and inspections as he deems necessary in relation to any application <br /> for Zoning Approval. When the application is one which requires referral to any <br /> other agency for action, it shall be his duty to transmit to said agency all <br /> documents constituting the record in the case and to make and report upon any <br /> further investigation required of him by the agency. <br /> Section 7 -3 -593: ENFORCING OFFICER - RECORDS. The enforcing officer <br /> shall maintain records of Zoning Approvals issued or denied pursuant to action <br /> on referral or on appeal. by any other agency. The records shall include, <br /> directly or by reference to filed documents, an account of the limitations or <br /> conditions, if any, included in the action authorizing every such Zoning <br /> Approval. Where a time limitation is so placed on the validity of any such <br /> approval, it shall be the duty of the enforcing officer to ensure its observance. <br /> 116 <br />
