• • <br /> TITLE Vll MAPS, BUILDINGS AND <br /> SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 3 Zoning <br /> • exclusive for not less than ninety (90) days after <br /> commencement of sales of units in the project to the <br /> public in general, or issuance of the final report of <br /> the California Department of Real Estate relating to <br /> such project, whichever occurs later unless the <br /> tenant gives prior written notice of his cr her <br /> intention not to exercise the right. <br /> The above described right and option afforded to <br /> tenants shall also be afforded to the City, to <br /> purchase any or all of the units not rented or leased <br /> to existing tenants. <br /> • <br /> (b) The right to terminate any lease or rental agreement, <br /> without any penalty whatsoever, pursuant to the <br /> notice of intention to apply for a condominium permit <br /> if such tenant notifies the applicant in writinc <br /> thirty (30) days in advance of his intention to <br /> terminate such lease or rental agreement. <br /> (c) The right to remain in the apartment or unit such <br /> tenant is occupying for at least one hundred eighty <br /> (180) days after notice of intention to apply for a <br /> condominium permit has been given to said tenant, if <br /> such tenant determines not to exercise the right to <br /> Purchase described in subsection (a) (v) (A) above. <br /> (d) T`1e right not to have rent increased at a rate <br /> greater than the rate of increase in the housing <br /> component of the Consumer Price Index for the San <br /> Francisco- Oakland - :Metropolitan Area, after notice of <br /> intention to apply for a condominium permit has been <br /> given. <br /> (e) The right not to allow the unit such tenant is <br /> occupying to undergo remodeling or refurbishing, <br /> without the consent of such tenant, after notice of <br /> intention to apply for a condominium permit has been <br /> given. <br /> (f) Any other rights, benefits and privileges such <br /> tenant may have pursuant to Chapter Title VII of <br /> this Code or to state law. <br /> (g) The right to reasonable relocation assistance, <br /> including payment of reasonable moving expenses and <br /> 11/16/81 141 <br />
