TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 14 Signs <br /> Section 7 -14 -575: SHOPPING CENTER SIGNS. The sign area <br /> permitted a property occupied by a shopping center may be used for <br /> signs accessory to the shopping center as a whole, provided that <br /> no more than twenty (20) percent of such sign area shall be <br /> dedicated to any individual occupancy other than the business <br /> engaged in the management of the shopping center. In addition <br /> thereto, each occupancy is permitted that sign area determined by ' <br /> application of the zoning district sign area limitation to the <br /> building frontage of such occupancy. <br /> Section 7 -14 -580: SIGNS ON SIGN DISPLAY STRUCTURES. No sign <br /> installed on a sign display structure shall project beyond the <br /> edge of such sign display structure. <br /> Section 7 -14 -585: TEMPORARY SIGNS ON SIGN DISPLAY STRUCTURES. <br /> Temporary signs may be installed on approved sign display <br /> structures. <br /> Section 7 -14 -590: PROHIBITIONS. Except as specifically <br /> permitted herein, the following signs are prohibited within the <br /> City of San Leandro: <br /> (a) Wind signs and signs which involve flashing or moving <br /> parts (other than revolving signs). <br /> (b) Signs which revolve at greater than 5 RPM. <br /> (c) Signs installed on a motor vehicle which have a primary <br /> function of directing attention to an establishment in <br /> the vicinity of the motor vehicle on which they are <br /> installed. <br /> (d) Non - accessory signs. <br /> (e) Accessory signs on property not used for any other <br /> purpose. <br /> (f) Temporary signs. <br /> (g) Non - stationary structures for display of permanent or <br /> temporary signs. <br /> (h) Projected signs. <br /> 9/28/82 -17- <br /> • <br />
