• <br /> TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 3 Zoning <br /> Section 7 -3 -200: RESIDENCE DISTRICTS. Certain classes of <br /> districts, designated by the primary symbol "R" or by the single <br /> symbol "0" and referred to collectively herein as Residence <br /> Districts or R Districts are established: (1) to provide space in <br /> suitable locations for the various types of dwelling <br /> accommodations needed in the City; (2) to provide a means of <br /> regulating the density and distribution of the population in <br /> conformance with the General Plan; and (3) to stabilize and <br /> protect the residential character of the districts and to promote <br /> and encourage a suitable environment for family life on a <br /> neighborhood basis. (Ord. 81 -015, 3/16/81) <br /> Section 7 -3 -201: IMPERMISSIBLE USES. No structures or uses • <br /> shall be maintained in any Residence District except as <br /> hereinafter specifically permitted. (Ord. No. 81 -015, 3/16/81) <br /> Section 7 -3 -210: R -1 DISTRICTS (SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE). The <br /> following regulations, except to the extent: that they may be <br /> .modiifed by a.combining 8 District, shall apply to every lot and <br /> building site in an R -1 District and shall" .be' subject to all of <br /> the general provisions of this Chapter. <br /> Section 7 -3 -211: USES PERMITTED - R -1 DISTRICTS. <br /> Section 7 -3- 211.1: One single family dwelling. <br /> Section 7- 3- 211.2: Accessory buildings and uses, as regulated <br /> herein. <br /> Section 7 -3- 211.3: Temporary building or use, as regulatd in <br /> Section 7 -3 -540. <br /> Section 7 -3- 211.4: (Repealed, Or. No. 69 -22, 4/28/69, effective <br /> 6/1/69) <br /> Section 7 -3- 211.5: Truck gardening or horticulture, where no • <br /> building is involved. <br /> Section 7 -3 -212: CONDITIONAL USES - R -1 DISTRICTS. The <br /> following uses shall be permitted only if authorized as <br /> conditional uses in accordance with the provisions of Section <br /> 7 -3 -640 through 7 -3 -648. (Ord.
