needed, to maintain a clean appearance while in service. <br />If the CONTRACTOR receives an unsatisfactory rating /report from the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the <br />CONTRACTOR must immediately inform the CITY and indicate the steps to be taken by the <br />CONTRACTOR to remedy the situation. Should such a rating result in a vehicle being unavailable for <br />service, and no satisfactory replacement vehicle is made available, liquidated damages may be assessed <br />by the CITY. <br />The CONTRACTOR is also responsible for the maintenance of all communication systems and all other <br />equipment required in the operation of this service. Maintenance policies and programs for all vehicles <br />must be acceptable and reasonable to the CITY. <br />2.23 VEHICLE BRANDING <br />The CITY will provide the CONTRACTOR with a sign for the exterior of each in- service bus. CITY will pay <br />for sign.
