IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -105 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO INTERNATIONAL <br /> SURFACING SYSTEMS FOR THE ANNUAL STREET SEALING 2010 -11 PROJECT, <br /> PROJECT NO. 10- 144 -38 -323 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on May 12, 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed <br /> proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011-074 of the Council of said <br /> City adopted on April 18, 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of <br /> said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, <br /> to wit: International Surfacing Systems, at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City <br /> Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Starosciak and passed and adopted this 6th day of June, 2011, <br /> by the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: aA,e liA( , 4,1,,,E `L`-& - <br /> Marian Handa, City Clerk <br />
