EXHIBIT "A" <br />CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />WPCP REHABILITATION PROJECT <br />ENGINEERING SERVICES DURING CONSTRUCTION <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />INTRODUCTION <br />The City of San Leandro (City) owns and operates a 7.6 -mgd rated average dry weather flow <br />(ADWF) Water Pollution Control Plant (WPCP) located in San Leandro, California. Carollo <br />Engineers (Consultant) has completed design of the WPCP Rehabilitation Project to restore the <br />capacity and function of the WPCP with improvements to various existing facilities and by <br />adding new facilities. Construction of the project will be performed by S.J. Amoroso <br />Construction Co., Inc. Construction Management of the project will be provided by the City. <br />Consultant's Scope of Services herein is to provide engineering services during construction <br />(ESDC) to the City's Construction Management team and plant staff. This Scope of Services is <br />based on a construction period of 690 working days (approximately 32 months) from <br />Contractor's notice to proceed. <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />This section presents the Scope of Services for the WPCP Rehabilitation Project - Engineering <br />Services During Construction. This project will utilize EADOC software, a web -based <br />construction management software to be provided by the Contractor, to manage the majority of <br />electronic media and information used during construction. <br />Task 1 - Project Management and Meetings <br />Consultant shall provide the appropriate level of project administration and management of this <br />project, and attend specified meetings during the construction period. Rick Chan and James <br />Wickstrom will continue as project manager and project engineer, respectively, throughout the <br />duration of this project. <br />Task 1.1 - Project Management. Consultant shall provide the appropriate level of project <br />management and administration necessary for proper planning, filing, execution, monitoring, <br />quality control, and reporting of this project during the construction period. Consultant shall also <br />prepare a brief monthly progress summary letter report for attachment to the monthly invoice to <br />track status of budget expenditures by major task description in Exhibit B and key work <br />activities completed during that billing period.
