Each O &M chapter will include descriptions on general process description, design criteria, <br />component equipment listing, process control, startup and shutdown procedures, normal <br />operating procedures, emergency operating procedures, alarm conditions and trouble shooting, <br />and maintenance requirements. For this task, a budget equivalent to about 840 hours (14 chapters <br />at 60 hours per chapter) have been included but can be higher or lower depending on the actual <br />effort required. <br />Information Provided by City: <br />• Input and confirmation on O &M format and content. <br />• Review comments on draft copy of each O &M chapter. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />• One draft copy of each O &M chapter. <br />• One final copy of each O &M chapter. <br />Task 9 - As- Directed Services <br />Consultant shall provide engineering services to the City on an as- directed basis. <br />Task 9.1 — As- Directed Services. Upon written request from the City, Consultant shall provide <br />as- directed services to the City during the construction period. These services can include, but <br />not be limited to, the following: <br />• Claims Management Assistance - provide claims management assistance to the City <br />during the construction period. <br />• Prepare Owner requested changes - clarify and /or change the intent of the contract <br />documents at the request of the City. In preparing the proposed change, Consultant shall <br />issue revised specifications, drawings, and /or sketches, if necessary, to change the intent <br />of the contract documents and review cost of proposed changes. <br />• Review change orders - review shall be limited to merits of the proposed change order <br />and providing input on applicable unit and material prices of selected items. The City will <br />negotiate the proposed change order cost with the Contractor based on Consultant's input <br />on applicable unit and material prices. <br />• Field alteration redesign services - provide redesign services to City to correct facilities <br />that the Contractor did not construct in accordance with the contract documents. <br />Consulting Services Agreement between Project No. 08- 593 -52 -239 <br />City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc.
