She would like to see public comment
periods after each committee agenda item.
Francois Gallo asked if the pre- and post - construction testing of ANTI homes could be
accomplished with sound generating equipment so that it could be more consistent with typical
single event noise incidents. He asked if there was any progress on discussions with the Port
on extending the ANIP program or creating a buy -out program. He pointed out that the Port's
own documents show that a second ILS at the North Field could increase air traffic capacity at
the North Field.
Harold Perez would like everyone involved in the ANIP. He does not want to see 2 ILS
systems at the North Field because it would bring more planes over his neighborhood. He
believes there are now more jets flying over his neighborhood than propeller planes.
Dennis Rosucci had questions regarding the ANTI' eligibility, specifically how the City came
up with the requirement that the first eligible homes be owner- occupied single family homes.
Lou Filipovich quoted from the Public Utilities Code and commented on propeller planes
versus jets. He asked the City to consider how it will address misinformation being published
by local newspapers.
9. He
felt other areas of the City should be considered in the ANIP if there are hardship cases. He
suggested that the A.NNP consultant firm may be able to come up with some other suggestions
for noise solutions throughout the community as they move through the AMP program.
10.
