• • <br /> • Port shall pay for noise insulation at the Mulford Gardens Branch Library, if the noise <br /> study shows the interior of any reading room of the library for the peak air traffic hour <br /> during normal library would exceed 45dB times average A — weighted aircraft noise <br /> level. <br /> • Port shall fund all costs of conducting the sound studies for the library and preparing the <br /> construction specification's. <br /> • Port shall fund all actual and reasonable payments the City is obligated to make to the <br /> construction contractor for the library noise insulation improvements. <br /> • The Port shall reimburse the City for its actual costs of retaining consultants for the <br /> library insulation program. <br /> • Port shall designate a representative of the Airport as the Safety Liaison to the City. <br /> • Port's Safety Liaison shall assist the City with aircraft emergency preparedness and <br /> community education outreach. <br /> • Port's Safety Liaison shall invite City personnel to each annual FAA- mandated Airport <br /> safety exercise. <br /> • Port's Safety Liaison shall conduct emergency briefings /workshops for City officials and <br /> the public about Airport emergencies. <br /> • Port shall provide City with a report on the Port's emergency response program in the <br /> event an air disaster occurs in San Leandro. <br /> • Port shall relocate the Instrument Landing System from Runway 27R to Runway 27L. <br /> • <br /> • Port shall continue the North Field Flight Route Research Group and shall continue to <br /> work in good faith with cities of San Leandro and Alameda to address North Field noise <br /> issues. <br /> • • Port shall maintain a permanent Airport noise discussion group to address Airport noise <br /> issues. <br /> • Port shall work with City to schedule three meetings between the Port Board's Aviation <br /> Committee and a three - member subcommittee of the San Leandro City Council. <br /> • The Port shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend the City, its Council members, <br /> employees, agents, consultants, and officers from and against all claims, demands, <br /> actions, causes of action, losses, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses, including but <br /> not limited to, reasonable attorney fees or obligations, for and in connections with or <br /> • arising out of any work contemplated in the settlement agreement, including the sound <br /> studies, that is contracted between the Port and third parties. <br /> 42392 2 <br />
