® . <br /> CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AGREEMENT <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • Port shall implement San Leandro Runway Use Policy that regularly scheduled large <br /> commercial passenger aircraft operations shall not occur at Airport North Field over San <br /> Leandro, except for emergencies, or when Runway 11/29 is closed for construction, <br /> maintenance or repairs. <br /> • <br /> • Port shall provide San Leandro with notice, where possible, of scheduled maintenance <br /> and repairs of Runway 11/29. <br /> • Port shall notify FAA and federal air traffic management agencies of San Leandro <br /> Runway Policy and seek compliance with policy. <br /> • Port shall fund City's Residential Airport Noise Insulation Program. <br /> • Port shall pay the City the full cost of noise insulating up to a total of 200 residential units <br /> (single family homes, condo units, apartment buildings and multiple units such as a <br /> duplex or triplex). <br /> • Port shall pay City's actual costs to management firm to manage and administer the <br /> City's Residential Airport Noise Insulation Program. <br /> • Port shall pay City 550,000 to cover the City's staff costs of administering the City's <br /> Residential Airport Noise Insulation Program. • <br /> • Port shall pay City an additional 525,000 to cover second year City staff costs for <br /> administering the City's Program. <br /> • <br /> • Port shall pay City an additional $25,000 to cover third year City staff costs for <br /> administering the City's Program. <br /> • • Port shall provide funding to City for insulation measures such as new double pane <br /> windows, sliding glass doors, window and door weather stripping and fresh air switch <br /> fans for units not having one. <br /> • Port shall fund all actual and reasonable payments the City is obligated to make to the <br /> City's construction contractor for the residential unit noise insulation improvements. <br /> • Port's residential airport noise insulation obligations shall be expanded to cover • <br /> residential units within the Davis West and Timothy Lane neighborhoods, if the Port, <br /> without written City consent, changes or terminates the San Leandro Runway Use <br /> Policy. <br /> • Port shall conduct a noise study of the Mulford Gardens Branch Library to establish the <br /> projected interior aircraft noise level. <br /> 42392 1 <br /> ■ <br />
