CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br />STAFF REPORT <br />DATE: July 18, 2011 <br />TO: Lianne Marshall, Interim City Manager / <br />FROM: Carla Rodriguez, Deputy Finance Directoo( <br />Finance Department ��, <br />APPROVED AND <br />FORWARDED <br />TO CITY COUNCIL <br />46A4w�-" - <br />Lianne Marshall <br />Interim City Manager <br />BY: Mary Ann Perini, Budget and Compliance Manager J1-*0 <br />Finance Department <br />SUBJECT PROJECT /PROJECT DESCRIPTION: <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING TEXT CORRECTIONS TO TITLE 6, CHAPTER 4 OF THE <br />SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE RELATING TO FEES AND CHARGES FOR <br />SERVICES PROVIDED BY CITY DEPARTMENTS <br />SUMMARY AND RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends City Council approval of the proposed corrections to the City's Community <br />Development Building Regulation's division user fees and service charges for Fiscal Year 2011- <br />12 (July 1, 2011 — June 30, 2012). <br />BACKGROUND <br />On May 2, 2011 City Council adopted the adjustments to the City's user fees and service charges <br />effective July 1, 2011. The adopted fiscal year 2011 -12 City of San Leandro Fee Schedule was <br />provided to the City departments for use. Community Development staff noticed a clerical error <br />where the fees were inadvertently placed on a line above the correct and respective fee. These <br />charges are reflected on Attachment A listing the originally adopted fee amounts and the <br />"corrected" fee amounts by charge item. <br />Current City Council Policy <br />Staff submits fee recommendations to City Council in conjunction with the annual budget <br />process. <br />Previous City Council Action(s) <br />Current fee schedule approved on May 2, 2011 <br />CONCLUSION <br />Staff recommends City Council adopt a resolution amending Title 6, Chapter 4 of the San <br />Leandro Administrative Code, to incorporate the proposed corrections to the City's Community <br />Development user fees and service charges (Attachment A), effective July 1, 2011. <br />
