IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -147 <br /> RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO GALLAGHER & <br /> BURK, INC. FOR THE ANNUAL OVERLAY/REHABILITATION 2010 -11 PROJECT, <br /> PROJECT NO. 10- 149 -38 -327 <br /> Recitals <br /> The City of San Leandro did, on July 8. 2011, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed <br /> proposals or bids for doing the work described in Resolution No. 2011-119 of the Council of said <br /> City adopted on June 20 2011, which resolution is hereby expressly referred to for a description of <br /> said work and for all particulars relative to the proceedings under said resolution. <br /> Said proposals were submitted to the Engineering and Transportation Director who has <br /> recommended that the proposal hereinafter mentioned is the lowest responsive bid for doing said <br /> work. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby waives any irregularities in the proposal or bid of the lowest responsible <br /> bidder, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work to the lowest responsible bidder therefore, <br /> to wit: Gallagher & Burk, Inc., at the prices named in its bid on file in the Office of the City Clerk. <br /> Introduced by Councilmember Cutter and passed and adopted this 18th day of July, 2011. by <br /> the following called vote: <br /> Members of the Council: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Cutter, Gregory, Prola, Reed, Souza, Starosciak; <br /> Mayor Cassidy (7) <br /> NOES: None (0) <br /> ABSENT: None (0) <br /> ATTEST: nil/WC( G(i1& ( 4/1/IA-- <br /> Marian 1- Ianda, City Clerk <br />
