DRAFT MINUTES Page 2 <br />Cite of San Leandro Cite Council, San Leandro Economic Development Agency, San Leandro Hillside Geologic <br />Hazard Abatement District, and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting — July 18, 2011 <br />The hearing was opened to the public. <br />Donna Payne, San Leandro business owner, addressed the City Council, <br />commenting that she is being liened for a business that she has terminated. <br />Ramez Barghouthy, San Leandro property owner, addressed the City Council, <br />commenting that his property is being liened for solid waste charges incurred by a <br />former business tenant. <br />There being no other public speakers, and without objection, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Resolution No. 2011 -138 Resolution Overruling Protests (2011 Business <br />License Tax, Solid Waste Service Charges, Sidewalk Repairs, Community <br />Compliance Code Enforcement Violation Penalties and /or Weed Abatement <br />Charges, False Alarm Responses, and Certified Unified Program Agency [CUPA] <br />Fees) (overrules protests or objections made by owners or persons in possession of <br />certain properties). <br />NI/S /C Gregory and Prola. PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />Jake Jacoby, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, submitting a written <br />request to the Council to consider designating a room at a City facility for playing pool. <br />Jeff Torres, San Leandro resident, addressed the City Council, agreeing with the previous <br />speaker regarding the need for a City facility for senior citizens to play pool. <br />
