CITY MANAGER AND CITY ATTORNEY REPORTS AND COMMENTS Interim City Manager Lianne Marshall reported on the July 5 th Council referral to the Rules and Communications Committee regarding the prohibition on keeping chickens and bees within City limits. The matter was discussed by the Business and Housing Development Committee in September 2009, and the Committee did not wish to change the current policy. Ms. Marshall recommended that if the Council wished to reconsider this matter, the referral should be redirected to the Business and Housing Development Committee. 7. AMENDMENT OF CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar was amended to remove Items 8.C.2.a., 8.L, and 8.0. Items will be considered under Item 9, Items Removed from Consent Calendar. 8. CONSENT CALENDAR Items 8.C.2.a., 8.L, and 8.0. were removed from the Consent Calendar to Item 9, Items Removed from Consent Calendar. COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION: The Committee recommends City Council approval of the proposed Interfund Loan and Advance Process and Authority Policy, requiring City Council approval for amounts greater than $499,999.
