ABSENT: None <br />C. ANNOUNCEMENTS <br />By consensus of the Council, Item 10.B., the ordinance prohibiting the use of <br />polystyrene foam food service ware, was taken out of order and considered <br />immediately following the Public Hearing item. <br />2. PRESENTATIONS/ RECOGNITIONS <br />A. Proclamation Declaring September 24, 2011 as "Worldwide Day of Play" in San <br />Leandro, in Partnership with Nickelodeon in Its 8 Annual Worldwide Day of Play. <br />B. Resolution No. 2011 -160 Resolution Appointing Jane Ann Abelee as District 5 <br />Member to Board of Zoning Adjustments. <br />M /S /C Cutter and Prola. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />Newly appointed BZA member Jane Ann Abelee took her Oath of Office administered <br />by the City Clerk. <br />3. PUBLIC HEARINGS — CITY COUNCIL <br />A. Matter of Approval of Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report <br />(CAPER) of the 2010 -2011 Consolidated Action Plan. <br />The hearing was opened to the public. <br />Karla Goodbody, Davis Street Family Resource Center, addressed the City <br />Council, expressing appreciation to the Council and City staff for supporting her <br />agency in providing services to needy San Leandro residents. <br />There being no further comments from the public, and without objection, the public <br />hearing was closed. <br />1. Resolution No. 2011 -161 Resolution Approving the 2010 -2011 Consolidated <br />Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER) and Authorizing <br />Submission Thereof by the City Manager (approves the CAPER, as required <br />by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development [HUD] <br />regulations, reporting on the activities and projects described in the FY 2010- <br />2011 Action Plan and conducted during the period of July 1, 2010 to June 30, <br />2011). <br />M /S /C Prola and Souza. Ayes: 7; Noes: 0 <br />With concurrence of the City Council, Item 10.B. was taken after Item 3.A. <br />
