Peet's Coffee & Tea. The design concepts include additional retail and restaurant <br />spaces with outdoor dining, and a public plaza and gathering place with a fountain. <br />The City will hold a community workshop on Tuesday, September 27 at 7 p.m. to <br />provide an update and solicit citizen feedback on the proposed Village Marketplace <br />retail center at 1550 East 14th Street (the former downtown Albertsons store). The <br />workshop will be held in the Sister Cities Gallery at City Hall located at 835 East <br />14th Street. <br />b. Business Renovations: Business Development Manager Battenberg informed the <br />Committee that F.H. Dailey Chevrolet and the San Leandro Nissan car dealerships <br />will be undergoing extensive remodels this fall. In addition the Wal -Mart store on <br />Davis Street recently completed interior and exterior improvements. <br />5. Public Comments: Scott Terry of the Broadmoor Garden Exchange spoke in favor of <br />amending the Zoning Code to allow urban farming. <br />6. Committee Member Comments: None <br />7.
