Councilmember Souza asked if the estimated completion date of Fall 2012 for the <br />Callan Garage also reflects the date that the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce will <br />be moving in. Ken Joseph stated that they will be able to move in at that time. <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked for an update on the street light undergrounding. <br />Austine Osakwe stated that the start of construction is the third week of September. <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked for an update on the par course rehabilitation <br />project. Austine stated that the par course construction is fenced off and there is <br />currently no access. Ken stated that the project will be completed in phases. <br />Councilmember Souza stated that the annual street sealing project on Doolittle and on <br />Alvarado is receiving complaints due to the debris sticking to tires and cars. Ken <br />explained that the chip seal continues to be swept. Councilmember Souza stated that <br />the roads are rough and the perimeter of old meets new has gaps. She would like to <br />see a smoother transition and better quality control. <br />Councilmember Starosciak stated that everyone is excited about the dog park. Ken <br />stated that the Knight Memorial is complete. Dedications for both projects will be held <br />on Saturday, September 24tH <br />Councilmember Souza asked about the restroom replacement at Toyon Park. Ken <br />explained the installation process and stated that the start of the on-site construction is <br />set for October 17 with a completion date of December. <br />5. Committee Member Comments <br />Councilmember Starosciak commented that Councilmember Gregory posted a list of <br />projects from the Alameda County Transportation Commission at the City Council <br />meeting. She asked that staff bring a list of projects with the ACTC to the Facilities <br />Committee. <br />Councilmember Starosciak asked if the signalization at 136th and Bancroft is still on <br />target. Reh-Lin Chen stated that construction is due to start the day after the last day <br />of school 2012. <br />7.
