(SLMC 4-1 1-200123 5) ✓ Must be supervised by their owner and under voice control at all times. Vicious and aggressive dogs are NOT allowed and dogs must be removed IMMEDIATELY at the first sign of aggression towards people or other dogs. (SLMC 4-11-610) ✓ Must be leashed outside of the dog park. Inside the dog park an owner must carry leashes at all times and remove choke, pinch of pronged collars with the leash. (SLMC 4-11-300) ✓ Are the only animal allowed and no more than three dogs per owner are permitted in any area at all times. ✓ Are not allowed to dig holes and cannot remain if barking excessively. (SLMC 4-1-115 (a)) GENERAL: ✓ Owners are responsible for clean-up after their dog(s) and responsible for any injury or damage caused by their dog(s). (SLMC 4-11-325) ✓ Owners use the park at their own risk. The City of San Leandro is not responsible for any injury or illness to dogs, their owners or visitors of the facility. ✓ Alcohol, smoking, and food (dog or human) are not allowed. (SLMC 4-1-705 and 4-12-205e) ✓ Bicycles, strollers, skateboards, scooters, wagons, glass containers, and dog toys are not allowed. ✓ Children must be at least 6 years of age to enter, and if under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. ✓ Congregating within a 20 foot radius of the entry gates is not allowed. ✓ Commercial use of the Dog Park is not allowed except by special permit from the San Leandro Recreation and Human Services Department, 510- 577-3462. ✓ Dog Park is subject to closure at any time for maintenance, special events, weather or other circumstances as determined by the City Manager or City Manager's designee. ✓ All rules governing City parks apply to and must be heeded by Dog Park Users. The north end of the park has an area designated for small dogs, 25 pounds or less. Small dogs playing in the larger area is at the discretion of the owner and owner assumes full responsibility.
