This is recommended since the remaining <br />close out activities will be administrative in nature. <br />The ACAP Board met September 15, 2011 and voted to recommend to their respective <br />governing bodies that they approve the amendment to the ACAP Joint Powers Authority. <br />The amendment has been reviewed by the legal counsels of all the member agencies. The <br />recommended JPA amendment is attached. The JPA requires that all members approve the <br />amendment to the JPA for it to take effect. <br />Board /Commission Review and Actions <br />This item was reviewed and recommended for approval by the ACAP Board of Directors. <br />Legal Analysis <br />The City Attorney's Office reviewed the proposed amendments to the Joint Powers Authority <br />Agreement, and approve them as to form. Approval will expedite the winding up process, <br />mitigate the City's liability for ACAP liabilities, and increase the flexibility of the ACAP <br />members to handle remaining administrative and ministerial tasks. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />None anticipated at this time. <br />ATTACHMENTS <br />None <br />PREPARED BY: Richard D.
