V. FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> A. Automatic sprinklers shall be installed in the building per the San Leandro Fire <br /> and Building Codes. <br /> B. A fire hydrant is required within 250 feet of the frontage of the property. If the <br /> existing fire hydrants do not meet this requirement, a new fire hydrant shall be <br /> installed. Show the location of the closest fire hydrant on the building permit <br /> plans. <br /> • <br /> C. Adequate fire flow shall be required for the project per the California Fire Code <br /> (CFC) Appendix B. The required fire flow for the site is 1500 gallons per minute <br /> (gpm). Provide fire flow information for the site. The fire flow information is <br /> available from EBMUD. <br /> D. If there is high piled storage in the building it shall comply with the CFC Chapter <br /> 23. <br /> E. The project shall comply with the applicable building and fire codes as adopted <br /> by the City of San Leandro. Site and building plans shall be provided for review <br /> and approval by the Fire Department. <br /> VI. MAINTENANCE <br /> A. The project site shall be well- maintained and shall be kept free of litter, debris and <br /> weeds at all times; during construction, the site shall be well- maintained and shall <br /> be kept free of litter, debris and weeds. The entire site shall be kept free of litter <br /> . accumulations, including removal of litter, which collects against the building or the <br /> landscaped area along East 14th Street or the perimeter of the site on a daily basis. <br /> B. Any graffiti shall be promptly removed from building walls, perimeter walls <br /> and /or fences. The developer and any successors in interest shall comply with the <br /> rules and regulations of the City's graffiti removal program and shall grant a <br /> license and right of entry as requested to enforce the terns of such program. <br /> C. The signs on the property shall be well maintained at all times. Any damage to the <br /> signs shall be promptly repaired or replaced. <br /> D. Unauthorized and temporary signage shall not be permitted on the property, <br /> except as approved for a specified amount of time in a Special Event Permit <br /> granted by the City Community Development Department. <br /> E. Upon any type of notification from any City Official, any type of overflow from <br /> the trash enclosure shall be cleaned up within four hours. The City reserves the <br /> right to have its Public Works Division or subcontractor clean up the condition <br /> and the applicant shall be responsible for all associated costs with the cleanup. <br /> Agreement to Conditions August 4, 2011 <br /> PLN2011 -00019 Page 11 of 15 <br />
