If private vendors or contractors are providing the <br /> information, what steps will you take to verify or check the accuracy of the information? <br /> Response: <br /> Monthly trip ceilings will be established based on projected operating costs /passenger <br /> trip projections and funding ceilings to control expenditures. The San Leandro <br /> Measure B Paratransit Study will establish monitoring and management reporting <br /> protocols that are appropriate for the service options recommended in the study. <br /> Performance expectations will be established for the recommended services and, if <br /> contracted out will be included in the service contract specifications. Performance <br /> measures will be established to monitor and evaluate the attainment of service goals and <br /> objectives. Oversight protocols and responsibilities will be established for City staff to <br /> ensure effective service monitoring and to verification of reported ridership, fare <br /> recovery, revenue hours, complaints, denials, on -time performance and incident data. <br /> 11 Coordination <br /> Describe how services will be coordinated with other Measure B paratransit services <br /> and/or mandated ADA paratransit services so that trips can be made throughout Alameda <br /> County. Examples of coordination may include (but are not limited to) reciprocal fare <br /> agreements, reciprocal agreements to provide trips into adjoining areas, arrangements for <br /> clients to ride on other systems, and transfer arrangements. Attach copies of agreements <br /> or memoranda of understanding for coordination. <br /> Response: <br /> San Leandro will continue to work collaboratively with the East Bay Paratransit <br /> Consortium for the provision of ADA service, which is coordinated so that trips can be <br /> made throughout Alameda County. San Leandro will consult with nearby cities during <br /> preparation of the paratransit plan to identify how other Measure B trips can be <br /> coordinated with their services. The City will consult on how various types of <br /> coordination could be achieved with other cities' programs, such as reciprocal fare <br /> agreements, reciprocal agreements to provide trips into adjoining areas, arrangements for <br /> clients to ride on other systems, and transfer arrangements. <br /> Page 5 <br />
