.P City of San Leandro <br />_"' 0_0z <br />Meeting Date: July 16, 2012 <br />Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 12 -377 Agenda Section: PUBLIC HEARINGS — CITY <br />COUNCIL <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY: David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW: David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE: ADOPT: Resolution Imposing Liens for Non - Payment of Delinquent 2012 <br />Business License Tax, Solid Waste Service Charges, Sidewalk Repairs, <br />Community Compliance Code Enforcement Violation Penalties and /or Weed <br />Abatement Charges, False Alarm Responses, Certified Unified Program <br />Agency (CUPA) Fees, and Sewer Service Charges (recommends imposing <br />liens for non - payment of delinquent accounts to be placed on the 2012 -13 <br />Alameda County Property Tax roll) <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro has reviewed the Reports of the Finance <br />Director, filed with the City Clerk on Monday, July 9, 2012, and bearing List No. 2012 -001 for <br />2012 business license tax, List No. 2012 -002 for solid waste fees and charges, List No. 2012- <br />003 for sidewalk repairs, List No. 2012 -004 for community compliance code enforcement <br />code violation penalties and /or weed abatement charges, List No. 2012 -005 for false alarm <br />responses, List No. 2012 -006 for Certified Unified Program Agency (CUPA) fees, and List No. <br />2012 -007 for sewer service charges; copies of which are attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein. All of said charges are currently unpaid and delinquent. <br />Pursuant to the San Leandro Municipal Code, notice was duly given of the time and place <br />of hearing on said delinquent charges and upon any objections or protest by any of the <br />property owners liable to be liened for non - payment of such delinquent charges. <br />Said hearing was regularly set for the hour of 7:00 p.m. on July 16, 2012, in the City <br />Council Chambers, City Hall, 835 East 14th Street, San Leandro, CA. <br />The City Council of the City of San Leandro has heard and passed on objections and <br />protests of the property owners liable to be assessed for charges. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 711012012 <br />
