The Department will continue to provide up to $5.00 toward a group life insurance <br /> plan, except for those employees listed below, for whom a $6.00 contribution shall <br /> continue to be provided: <br /> William Gaspard <br /> James Hendrickson <br /> James Lane <br /> Anthony Rocha . <br /> • <br /> • - SECTION 14. DEPARTMENT CONTRIBUTION TOWARD RETIREE HEALTH PLAN <br /> COVERAGE <br /> Countv Plans: <br /> Effective on and after March 1, 1985, Department employees who have already retired, or <br /> who thereafter retire, under the Public Employees' Retirement System will be entitled to a <br /> Department contribution toward the provider's charge for health care plan coverage of the <br /> retiree in the same amount, to the same plans, and subject to the same service requirements <br /> and eligibility criteria as established and maintained from time -to -time by the Alameda <br /> County Employees' Retirement Association for health care plan coverage of retired County <br /> employees. In no event shall the Department contribution exceed either the amount of the <br /> provider's charge for the health plan or the level of the contribution made by the Retirement <br /> Association on behalf of retired county employees, and, if the Retirement Association <br /> contribution is discontinued, the Department contribution hereunder shall similarly be <br /> discontinued. This provision shall not establish a vested right on the part of any employee <br /> or retiree to a health plan contribution after the expiration of this Memorandum of <br /> Understanding. The service requirements and contribution rates to health plans currently <br /> maintained by the Retirement Association are: <br /> • <br /> RETIREES UNDER 65 CONTRIBUTIONS: <br /> 20 or more years service $169.15 per month <br /> 15 through 19 years service $126.36 per month <br /> 10 through 14 years service $84.58 per month <br /> KAISER OVER -65: <br /> 15 or more years service $107.01 per month <br /> 10 through 14 years service $84.58 per month <br /> BLUE CROSS OVER -65: <br /> 15 or more years service $117.01 per month <br /> 10 through 14 years service $84.58 per month <br /> HEALTH NET OVER -65: <br /> 15 or more years service $125.59 per month <br /> 10 through 14 years service $34.55 per month <br /> FI RE - 19 - - . 18 5 <br />
