No one shall be <br /> admitted to the oral interview who has not filed his official application form, or who is found <br /> from the information on the official application form not to meet the announced requirements <br /> for admission to the examination. <br /> • <br /> When an examination has been announced as a continuous examination as provided <br /> in rule 1436, the closing date shall be indefinite .and the period for filing, applications shall - <br /> • continue until suspended or terminated by order of the Commission. <br /> • <br /> 1336 Rejection <br /> The Commission may reject an application, or may disqualify an applicant at any stage <br /> of the examination process, or may remove an eligible from an employment list, for any of the <br /> following reasons: If he does not meet the minimum requirements as stated in the official <br /> announcement. or has not conformed with other published requirements, or has made false <br /> statements in his application, or is so deficient in personal qualifications or physical ability <br /> as to be unfit for effective service in the class. <br /> 1340 Notice of Rejection <br /> Whenever an application is rejected, the applicant shall be notified in writing and <br /> advised of the reason for rejection. <br /> • <br /> • 1344 Rieht to Anneal <br /> Whenever an application is rejected, the applicant may file n written appeal for <br /> reconsideration by the Commission. Such appeal shall be filed immediately on receipt of the <br /> rejection notice. In the event there is not sufficient time for the Commission to act on such <br /> appeal, the directur may allow the appellant to participate on a provisional basis pending <br /> decision of the Commission on the appeal. <br /> 1345 Notice of Admission • • • <br /> Each applicant whose application is accepted shall be furnished with a notice of <br /> admission to the examination for which he has filed. <br /> 1352 Applications Confidential <br /> Neither the names of applicants for an examination or the names of those who fail in <br /> an examination shall be made public. <br /> 1354 Applications Not Returnable <br /> Applications filed with the Commission shall become the property of the Commission <br /> and shall not be to applicants. <br /> 201 <br /> FIRE -35 <br />
