• • • <br /> • <br /> This is to confirm that a designee representing the Fire Chief and <br /> a designee representing the Personnel Director have met with two . <br /> representatives of the Fire Fighters' Association (hereafter <br /> referred to as the Association) to review the issue of rounding off • <br /> final examination scores on promotional employment lists for Fire <br /> Engineer and Fire Captain. As a result of this review, it is agreed <br /> to recommend the following to the Personnel Relations Board: <br /> 1. For the next two (2) promotional examinations only,. <br /> competitors who are successful in all phases of the - • <br /> • examination process for Fire Engineer and /or Fire Captain <br /> shall have their total earned percentage score rounded out to <br /> the next two decimal places (i.e. 75.67 %) rather than being <br /> rounded off to the nearest whole number (i.e. 76:). <br /> • <br /> • 2. Competitors shall have their names ranked on the 'employment <br /> list in accordance with their total earned percentage score <br /> carried out to two decimal places. <br /> • <br /> 3. The procedures set forth in numbers 1 and 2 above shall be <br /> • only for the next two immediate promotional examinations for <br /> - Fire Engineer and /or Fire Captain. At the conclusion of this <br /> • period of time the above procedure shall be discontinued and <br /> i replaced by rounding off the total earned percentage scores <br /> to the nearest whole number.
