• <br /> Second and each additional alarm. Three engines, one truck, one <br /> additional battalion chief, one air <br /> utility unit and a deputy chief. <br /> II. FIRE PREVENTION: <br /> County will provide fire prevention services as follows: <br /> • <br /> 1. Provide inspections for schools and apartments, and periodic inspections <br /> for all industrial, commercial; and institutional occupancies to ensure compliance with <br /> local and state fire code regulations. Minimum staffing assigned to the City will <br /> consist of a full-time Fire Marshal, Deputy Fire Marshal II, and suppression <br /> companies as required. <br /> 2. Provide consultation services to City departments and commissions as <br /> well as developers, realtors, and citizens regarding compliance with State and local fire <br /> and life safety regulations. Plan review personnel will be available to the City's One <br /> Stop Permit Center to meet with customers regarding any plan discrepancies at a <br /> mutually acceptable time. Plan check and review procedures shall be completed <br /> within a time frame established by mutual agreement of the City Manager and the <br /> • County. The County will participate and provide appropriate staffing to take part in <br /> activities of the City permit center. The County recognizes that need for business <br /> retention and attraction and will make every effort to facilitate this process. <br /> 3. County will administer and enforce all City adopted fire prevention <br /> codes and ordinances, including but not limited to, the Uniform Fire Code (UFC), <br /> Uniform Building Code (UBC) and the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA). <br /> County will cooperate in any other fire ordinances adopted by the City. <br /> III. FIRE INVESTIGATION: <br /> As needed, the County shall provide investigative services on all fires reported <br /> to the Fire Department within the City. County fire investigators shall be assigned to <br /> determine the cause of every major fire, fire fatality or explosion and shall conduct a <br /> complete investigation on every incident in which there is knowledge or suspicion <br /> that the crime of arson may have been committed. Investigators shall work with the <br /> City Police Department in the investigation process. <br /> SERVICE CRITERIA <br /> EXHIBIT "A" PAGE 3 OF 6 <br /> 31 <br />
