• <br /> IV. PUBLIC INFORMATION/EDUCATION: <br /> County will coordinate the planning and development of fire prevention and <br /> safety education programs for schools, businesses, community associations, child -care <br /> providers, and other members of the community. In addition to responding to <br /> information requests from the community, the County will develop specific bulletins <br /> and programs targeted to meet identified needs or hazards within the City. Fire <br /> prevention and life safety programs will be tailored to educate City residents and <br /> business community in order to help preserve life and property. <br /> V. HAZARDOUS MATERIALS REGULATORY PROGRAM: <br /> County shall administer the activities relating to the hazardous materials <br /> regulatory program. <br /> City shall retain its jurisdiction to act as hazardous materials regulatory agency <br /> for the following programs: 1) underground storage tank program, 2) hazardous <br /> materials disclosure program, 3) contaminated site deanup program, and 4) the <br /> hazardous materials data to County emergency response personnel. City will <br /> continue to supply technical assistance and investigation services for hazardous <br /> materials incidents. Hazardous materials inquires shall be directed to City for. <br /> appropriate response. <br /> Should County decide to provide the same level of service as City, then the <br /> City Manager may upon mutual agreement with the County, change the current <br /> staffing levels in order to expand this activity. <br /> VI. MUTUAL AID AND MUTUAL RESPONSE: <br /> County will perform all obligations under existing and future response <br /> contracts. County shall have the ability to enter other mutual aid and mutual <br /> response agreements as necessary on behalf of the City, with the consent of the City. <br /> VII. DISPATCH: <br /> City will, immediately upon execution of this Agreement, commence <br /> negotiations for full dispatch services with the Alameda County Sheriff's <br /> Consolidated Dispatch Service. This service shall include, but is not limited to, <br /> Emergency Medical Dispatch. Cost for this service shall be based on a Dispatch <br /> SERVICE CRITERIA <br /> EXHIBIT "A" PAGE 4 OF 6 <br /> 32 <br />
