The following fees have been established by the City Council pursuant to various provisions of the San Leandro Municipal Code (SLMC), San Leandro Administrative Code (SLAC) or the general laws of the State of California. <br />Description <br />LIBRARY SERVICES DEPARTMENT <br />1 Library Cards SLMC 1-3-805 <br />A. Non-resident San Leandro Workers $30.00/year <br />B. Non-resident Family $60.00/year <br />C. Replacement Card $3.00/adult; $3.00/minor <br />2 Fines and Penalties SLMC 1-3-805 <br />A. Overdue Book Fines $.40/day; - adult; $.25/day - minor <br />Max. Fine: $10.00/catalogued item; <br />$6.00/uncatalogued item <br />B. Lost Books List price plus processing charge of: $10.00 if <br />catalogued; $6.00 if uncatalogued <br />C. Overdue Video Cassette/DVD/CD $1.00/day up to $15.00/max. <br />D. Lost Video Cassette/DVD/CD Replacement costs plus $10.00 replacement charge <br />E. Damaged Video Cassette/DVD/CD Charge to be assessed by staff <br />F. Damaged Plastic Case for Video, DVD or CD $5.00 <br />G. Replace Mylar Book Cover $5.00 <br />3 Special Services SLMC 1-3-805 <br />A. Proctor Exam Fee $50.00 <br />4 Meeting Facility Fees <br />USERS are classified into the following groups for the purpose of determining applicable fees and charges. <br />-- Group Eligibility A:Programs administered by or for the City of San Leandro <br />-- Group Eligibility B:San Leandro non-profit organizations with ten or <br />more members of whom at least 50% are San <br />Leandro residents. (Non-profit fundraising <br />events will be charged for actual operating costs, <br />including staffing, utilities and security). <br />-- Group Eligibility C:Non-San Leandro Non-profit organizations which <br />serve San Leandro residents. (Use of high- <br />demand facilities limited to twice per year. <br />Fundraising events will be charged for actual <br />operating costs, including staffing, utilities, and <br />security.) <br />-- Group Eligibility D: San Leandro resident individuals or groups using <br />the facility for private purpose. <br />-- Group Eligibility E:Non-resident individuals using the facility for <br />private purposes. <br />-- Group Eligibility F:San Leandro businesses with company facility <br />located within San Leandro city limits. <br />-- Group Eligibility G:Non-San Leandro businesses, commercial <br />groups, non-profit organizations, and all other <br />non-resident groups. <br />RENTAL FEES are determined by group eligibility and facility used.
