City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: May 20, 2013 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:13-222 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:Uchenna Udemezue <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW:David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE:ADOPT: Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and Calling for Bids <br />for Bridge Maintenance and Repair 2011, Project No. 144-38-339 (provides for <br />the repairs to the San Leandro Boulevard and Wicks Boulevard bridges at a <br />cost of $190,000 using FY 11-12 Measure B Streets & Roads funds) <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Leandro has reviewed and considered the <br />Categorical Exemption prepared for Bridge Maintenance and Repair 2011, Project No. 144-38 <br />-339, and any comments received, and hereby finds that the project will not have a significant <br />impact on the environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That the specifications, special provisions and plans for said project are hereby <br />approved; and <br />2.That bids are hereby called for and the City Clerk is hereby directed to publish <br />notice thereof once in the official newspaper of this City ; and <br />3.That said bids shall be submitted to the office of the City Clerk on or before the date <br />and time specified in the public notice, at which such specified date, time, and place said bids <br />will be publicly opened and read; and <br />4.That said bids, after being publicly opened and read, will be calculated by the <br />Engineering and Transportation Director ; and <br />5.That the results of the bidding and the calculation of the Engineering and <br />Transportation Director will be reported to the City Council at its regular meeting thereafter . <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 5/14/2013
