A private nonprofit hospital or nonprofit line 8 multispecialty clinic may create a community benefits advisory line 9 committee for the purpose of soliciting community input. line 10 (c) In preparing its community health needs assessment, a private line 11 nonprofit hospital or nonprofit multispecialty clinic shall use line 12 available public health data. A private nonprofit hospital or line 13 nonprofit multispecialty clinic may collaborate with other facilities line 14 and health care institutions in conducting community health needs line 15 assessments and may make use of existing studies in completing line 16 their own needs assessments. line 17 (d) Prior to completing a community health needs assessment, line 18 a private nonprofit hospital or nonprofit multispecialty clinic shall line 19 make available to the public a copy of the assessment for review line 20 and comment. line 21 (e) A community health needs assessment shall be filed with line 22 the office. A private nonprofit hospital or a nonprofit multispecialty line 23 clinic shall update its community needs assessment at least every line 24 three years. line 25 127477. (a) By April 1, 2015, a private nonprofit hospital or line 26 nonprofit multispecialty clinic shall develop a community benefits line 27 plan that conforms with this chapter. line 28 (b) In developing a community benefits plan, a private nonprofit line 29 hospital or nonprofit multispecialty clinic shall solicit comments line 30 from and meet with local government officials, including line 31 representatives of local public health departments.
