File Number: 13-398 <br />and specifications and called for bids on the subject project <br />·On March 13, 2013, by Resolution No. 2013-039, the City Council awarded a construction <br />contract to Grade Tec, Inc. for the subject project <br />Applicable General Plan Policies <br />This project is consistent with General Plan Goal No. 21 - Rehabilitation of existing parks <br />policy. <br />Environmental Review <br />This project was determined to be Categorically Exempt in accordance with CEQA Section <br />15301 (Existing Facilities) Part (s) for existing bicycle and pedestrian trails. <br />A Notice of Exemption was filed with Alameda County on March 20, 2009. <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />·The total cost of the Toyon Park Pathway Rehabilitation project was $90,000. A summary <br />of the site work construction contract with Grade Tec , Inc. is listed below: <br />Grade Tec, Inc.: Original Contract: $47,650 <br />Change Orders: $22,000 <br />Total Contract Amount: $69,650 <br />Major change order work involved lime treatment of the subgrade to stabilize areas that could <br />not support paving equipment. <br />Budget Authority <br />Measure WW funds for asphalt rehabilitation at City Parks was originally appropriated in CIP <br />Account No. 150-62-108 and approved by City Council as part of the 2010-2011 City budget. <br />To allow for coordination with other projects at Toyon Park , a portion of those funds were <br />separated into Account No . 150-62-115 specifically for paving work at this park.
