IN THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 2013-123 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF SAN LEANDRO AND THE <br /> SAN LEANDRO POLICE MANAGEMENT UNIT (SLPMU) FOR THE <br /> PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2013 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2015 <br /> WHEREAS, the sworn police management employees established the San Leandro <br /> Police Management Unit (SLPMU), a separate bargaining unit for the ranks of Captain and <br /> Lieutenant; and <br /> WHEREAS an agreement was reached by the negotiators of the City of San Leandro and <br /> the San Leandro Police Management Unit (SLPMU) and ratified by the employees represented <br /> by the SLPMU; and <br /> WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City and the <br /> SLPMU, for the period January 1, 2013 through June 30, 2015, has been presented to this City <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> I. That said MOU is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br /> authorized; and <br /> 2. That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said <br /> MOU, subject to the approval of the City Attorney; and <br /> 3. That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this <br /> resolution. <br />
