SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE TITLE 1 CITY COUNCIL Chapter 4 Assistance to Parades, Promotions, and Miscellaneous Special Events 0.4.100: GENERAL. The City may provide assistance in the forms of services to individuals and organizations conduct- ing activities governed by Section 4-20-100 et seq., of the San Leandro Municipal Code, and spe- cial events and promotions involving assistance in the form of personnel assistance, barricade ser- vices, or special refuse services in accordance with the following general guidelines: (a) Application Processing and Approval Fees—Section 4-20-100—Permits. An application fee as stated in §6.4.100 of the San Leandro Administrative Code is established for process- ing all applications filed for events covered by Section 4-20-100 of the San Leandro Mu- nicipal Code. (b) Support per Event. The City may provide service in support of each applicant/event con- ducted pursuant to this policy. Actual City costs will be accounted for on a per event basis, and event sponsors may be billed following the activity. (c) Insurance Requirements. All activities conducted pursuant to Section 4-20-100 of the San Leandro Municipal Code and other special events or activities conducted upon City prop- erty or public area controlled by the City are required to furnish insurance coverage in a form and amount acceptable to the City Manager prior to issuance of a permit. The City will provide, on a fee basis, special event insurance for those individual/organizations unable to provide adequate coverage.
