Matter of SB 53, Relating to Reporting of Employer-Paid Member <br /> Contributions as Compensation for Purposes of Retirement Calculation <br /> for the San Leandro City Employees' Association, Effective July 1 , <br /> 1994. <br /> Minute Order No. 95-1 , Matter of Approval of Addendum to Memorandum of <br /> Understanding Between the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro City <br /> Employees' Association (eliminates "rollover" provision in current MOU <br /> and provides for reporting of employer-paid member contribution as <br /> compensation for purposes of retirement calculation, effective July 1, <br /> 1994, in accordance with SB 53) . (1926/1092) <br /> On motion by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its approval , seconded <br /> by Council Member Kerr, and carried by a majority vote (6) , with <br /> Council Member Galvan absent (1) , the City Council approved the <br /> Addendum to Memorandum of Understanding Between the City of San Leandro <br /> and the San Leandro City Employees' Association. <br /> Resolution No. 95-1 , Resolution Authorizing Reporting the Value of <br /> Employer-Paid Member Contributions as Compensation Using the Special <br /> Compensation Approach, Government Code Section 20023 (C) (4) for <br /> Members of the San Leandro City Employees' Association (provides for <br /> reporting of employer-paid member contributions as compensation to <br /> PERS) . (1926/1092) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, <br /> seconded by Council Member Kerr, and carried by a majority vote (6) , <br /> with Council Member Galvan absent (1) . <br /> Resolution No. 95-2, Resolution Amending Section 1, Classes, <br /> Categories, and Salaries, of the Pay Plan (amends the Pay Plan to <br /> reflect elimination of the "rollover" provision, provides for reporting <br /> employer-paid member contributions as compensation to PERS, and sets <br /> new salary ranges for employees represented by the San Leandro City <br /> Employees' Association) .
