CALL TO ORDER <br /> 2. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Resolution of Commendation Recognizing the Contributions of Michael <br /> Munoz, Human Resources Commissioner, District 3. <br /> Mayor Corbett said Mr. Munoz could not be available to accept the <br /> Commendation, but the City Council wished to thank him for his work on <br /> the Human Resources Commission. <br /> Council Member Polvorosa said Mr. Munoz will continue to be an active <br /> member of the community, and the City appreciates his contributions and <br /> regretfully accepts his resignation. <br /> B. Proclamation Designating April 1995 as Earthquake Preparedness Month. <br /> Mayor Corbett thanked Pat McClellan, Disaster Preparedness Coordinator, <br /> and his staff for their outstanding efforts. She said San Leandro is <br /> now one of the Nation's best in the area of being proactive and has <br /> gained great national recognition. She read the Proclamation. <br /> Mr. McClellan said the month of April will place special focus on <br /> earthquake disasters in particular. He invited citizens to attend the <br /> April 29th Town Meeting on Earthquake Preparedness. <br /> Council Member Loeffler requested copies of the Proclamation be sent to <br /> the School Districts. <br />
