Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - June 19, 1995 Page - 3 - PUBLIC COMMENTS (continued) Council Member Loeffler said the comments he made were that San Leandro has more than 5,500 residents on AFDC, and the City must be sensitive to the'fact that there—are many-children in our community who depend on public services. H. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, suggested a northbound right-turn lane on Fairway Drive at Marina; said property values are a problem all over the country but particularly in San Leandro; spoke regarding the Mayor's 10-Point Plan; said the public has a tough time finding out what's going on in the City; and said letters received from the public are not brought: to--the public's -attention-:— He submitted a document regarding Community/Public Participation. 6. CONSENT CALENDAR Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. The Consent Calendar was approved as follows: Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved adoption of the Consent Calendar, with all items deemed to have been read by title, seconded by Council Member Myers, with Mayor Corbett absent (1) , and carried by a majority vote (6) .
