PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG <br /> 3. ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Proclamation Declaring August 10-15, 1995, as San Leandro Bobby Sox <br /> Week. <br /> Mayor Corbett read the Proclamation and said the team will play in the <br /> Tournament of Champions' National All Star Tournament in San Diego. <br /> The City Council congratulated the Bobby Sox team members on their <br /> accomplishments and wished them luck. The City Council presented the <br /> team with a check from the Council Members for $205 to defray costs. <br /> The team thanked the City Council and said they are the first San <br /> Leandro team to play in the tournament, consisting of 10- and 11-year- <br /> old girls. They said the team members understand how great it is to <br /> receive backing from the community and City for their accomplishments. <br />
