(2776) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by a majority vote (7) . <br /> C. Approval of Work Session Items Requiring Action. None <br /> D. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. None <br /> 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> None <br /> 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Galvan said the Bay 0 Vista Homeowners Association has <br /> expressed concern that the traffic control devices to be installed on <br /> the streets in the Estudillo Avenue area, on streets which provide <br /> access to Bay 0 Vista, will obstruct public safety vehicles. Also, Bay <br /> 0 Vista has sent letters to the City regarding the need to reduce speed <br /> on Benedict Drive, but nothing has happened, although action is being <br /> taken in other areas in town. <br /> Mayor Corbett noted the Police and Fire Departments have reviewed the <br /> plans for the speed control devices and see no problems. Council <br /> Member Galvan said Bay 0 Vista suggested the use of stop signs on <br /> Estudillo Avenue. <br /> B. Council Member Perry said she will be attending a transportation <br /> meeting on behalf of the League of California Cities at which the use <br /> of Measure B funds will be discussed. <br /> C. Council Member Polvorosa commended Joann Oliver, Kathy Ornelas and the <br /> Maintenance Division for controlling graffiti in San Leandro. He said <br /> San Leandro is far ahead of surrounding communities in this effort. <br />
