(1556) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded <br /> by Council Member Kerr, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the City <br /> Council removed the Marina Golf Course and the Mulford-Marina Branch <br /> Library from the list of City of San Leandro surplus property. The <br /> Council stated that it is not this City Council 's intention to sell <br /> the library or golf course property. <br /> J. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br /> The City Attorney reported no action was taken. <br /> 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. Matter of Adoption of the 1994 Edition of the State of California's <br /> Mandated Construction Codes. <br /> The Hearing was opened to the public. <br /> Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said the agenda is overloaded, and <br /> it is impossible to cover all 15 ordinances in five minutes. He said <br /> the Council is missing valuable input. <br /> The City Attorney noted that the effective date on the ordinances <br /> needed to be changed to December 28, 1995. The City Council concurred <br /> and the ordinances were approved as amended. <br /> There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council <br /> Member Loeffler, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by <br /> a majority vote (7) , the Public Hearing was closed. <br /> The following Ordinances were then introduced: <br /> Ordinance No. 95-022, An Ordinance Amending Articles 1, 2, and 3 of <br /> Chapter 3 of Title III of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to <br /> Adoption of the 1994 Uniform Fire Code. (1076/1035) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print, as amended, seconded by Council Member Galvan, and carried by a <br /> majority vote (7) . <br /> Ordinance No. 95-023, An Ordinance Repealing Article 1 and Adding <br /> Article 1 to Chapter 5 of Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code <br /> Relating to the Uniform Building Code. (1076) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Galvan, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print, as amended, seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by a <br /> majority vote (7) . <br />
