Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - November 6, 1995 Page - 17 - NEW BUSINESS (continued) - Minute Order No. 95-79, Matter of Marina Golf Course Surplus Property. (1556) On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Kerr, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the City Council removed the Marina Golf Course and the Mulford-Marina Branch Library from the list of City of San Leandro surplus property. The Council stated that it is not this City Council 's intention to sell the library or golf course property. J. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. The City Attorney reported no action was taken. 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS A. Matter of Adoption of the 1994 Edition of the State of California's Mandated Construction Codes. The Hearing was opened to the public. Lou Filipovich, 15376 Laverne Drive, said the agenda is overloaded, and it is impossible to cover all 15 ordinances in five minutes. He said the Council is missing valuable input. The City Attorney noted that the effective date on the ordinances needed to be changed to December 28, 1995. The City Council concurred and the ordinances were approved as amended. There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Loeffler, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the Public Hearing was closed. The following Ordinances were then introduced: Ordinance No. 95-022, An Ordinance Amending Articles 1, 2, and 3 of Chapter 3 of Title III of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Adoption of the 1994 Uniform Fire Code. (1076/1035) Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved that it be passed to print, as amended, seconded by Council Member Galvan, and carried by a majority vote (7) . Ordinance No. 95-023, An Ordinance Repealing Article 1 and Adding Article 1 to Chapter 5 of Title VII of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to the Uniform Building Code. (1076) Introduced by Council Member Galvan, who moved that it be passed to print, as amended, seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by a majority vote (7) .
