Council Member Polvorosa commended Kathy Ornelas for the excellent war <br /> memorial ceremony. <br /> D. Council Member Perry concurred; she noted this was the last appearance <br /> for Steve Baterras, of the American Legion Post, who will be leaving in <br /> three weeks. <br /> Council Member Perry said ABAG General Assembly would be discussing <br /> collaborative partnerships and Constitutional amendment issues. <br /> Council Member Perry said the East Bay Division meeting would be held <br /> on November 16 at Strizzi 's. <br /> Council Member Perry said residents of Elsie Avenue feel they were left <br /> out of the speed hump program. She said the issue is speed. The City <br /> Manager said the original locations approved by the City Council were <br /> experimental and Traffic would provide a report. <br /> E. Mayor Corbett noted that Naga, the Philippines, which is San Leandro's <br /> Sister City, was struck by a typhoon. She suggested a relief fund be <br /> established and advertised. <br /> Mayor Corbett said the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin was a tragic <br /> event; he was a man of great courage and active toward creating peace. <br /> 10. ADJOURN <br /> The City Council adjourned its meeting on Tuesday, November 7, 1995, at <br /> 12:25 a.m. , in Memory of Israel 's Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin. <br /> On motion by Council Member Galvan, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Myers, and carried by a majority vote (7) , the regularly <br /> scheduled meeting of November 20, 1995, was canceled and the City Council <br /> adjourned to a meeting on November 27, 1995. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> -?'1-644777/- <br /> E N M.
