(1099/1024) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by a majority <br /> vote (7) . <br /> Resolution No. 95-217, Resolution Repealing Section 15-1-1000 of the <br /> San Leandro Administrative Code Relating to Fence Modification <br /> Review. (1099/1024) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Perry, and carried by a majority vote (7) . <br /> 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Myers said he received calls regarding problems with <br /> speeding vehicles, unlicensed vehicles, and cars parked on lawns in the <br /> Marina Faire and Mulford Gardens areas. <br /> Council Member Myers said firefighter Lester Knight advised that the <br /> Fire Department plans on building a park for children at the Gateway <br /> Apartments at 900 Davis Street. <br /> Council Member Myers congratulated San Leandro Hospital for receiving <br /> accreditation from the Joint Commission on Accredited Hospitals. He <br /> said the hospital received the highest award. <br /> B. Council Member Loeffler said the Alameda Reuse Commission met last <br /> month and passed out the first two chapters of the Reuse Plan. He said <br /> the allocation of buildings will benefit San Leandro, such as in the <br /> area of homeless housing. <br /> Council Member Loeffler requested a status report on the Arts Council <br /> and a report on the success of the UniverCity Program. <br /> Council Member Loeffler said he and Council Member Galvan attended a <br /> meeting with the Estudillo Homeowners Association and provided <br /> information on the cost of retrofitting City Hall . He said he also met <br /> with Creekside Neighborhood Association, and Gary Kruger provided an <br /> extensive report on traffic medians. <br /> Council Member Loeffler requested an update on the status of loft-work <br /> units at the Petersen property. <br />
