Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - November 27, 1995 Page - 12 - <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS (continued) <br /> Council Member Loeffler commended the San Leandro Boys and Girls Club <br /> for their great fund raising event and said Council Member Polvorosa <br /> was a key player. <br /> Council Member Loeffler asked for a report on Oakland's proposed <br /> housing construction factory on Durant Avenue and said it will have an <br /> impact on the North Area. <br /> C. Mayor Corbett reported on her trip to Taiwan with the U.S. Conference <br /> of Mayors. She said she also visited San Leandro's Sister City, Naga, <br /> in the Philippines. She thanked the City Council for their support and <br /> commitment to serving Naga. She said there are many economic <br /> development and trade opportunities in Taiwan. She shared concerns for <br /> Naga as a result of the typhoon and said a video is available. <br /> 10. ADJOURN <br /> The City Council adjourned its meeting at 8:45 p.m. to a San Leandro <br /> Redevelopment Agency Meeting immediately following the City Council <br /> Meeting. <br /> 11.
