ROLL CALL <br /> PRESENT: Council Members Galvan, Kerr, Loeffler, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Corbett <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> 4. PRESENTATIONS <br /> A. Proclamation Declaring December 4, 1995, Arbor Day. <br /> The City Clerk read the Proclamation. Dan Nagle, Senior Landscape <br /> Supervisor, accepted the award on behalf of the City. He described San <br /> Leandro's tree planting policy and discussed how trees enhance the <br /> environment and the community. <br /> B. Presentation of National League of Cities (NLC) Award for City of San <br /> Leandro Home Strengthening Program. <br /> C. Presentation of Association of Bay Area Governments (ABAG) Award for <br /> City of San Leandro Home Strengthening Program. <br /> William. Schock, Chief Building Official , accepted the awards on behalf of <br /> the City. He said the goal was to develop a worthwhile program that is <br /> low-cost to the City but benefits homeowners and relies on their <br /> initiative. He said the program has been well received by homeowners. <br />
