Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - February 1, 1993 Page - 19 - PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) The City Council directed the City Clerk to repeat the Motion and the following Motion was then approved: Minute Order No. 93-09. Matter of Appeal by William H. Kerry of the Planning Commission's Denial of A-92-02; Re-Zone from the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the I-2 (General Industrial ) District the West Side of Neptune Drive Northerly of Williams Street, Known as 2600 Williams Street, and 1770 Through 1791 Neptune Drive; Assessor's Parcel Numbers 79A-541-21, 36 and 37; City Council Resolution of Intention No. 92-120. (1099) On motion by Council Member Faria, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council granted the Appeal for A-92-02 and re-zoned the property to I-2, making the re-zoning ordinances operative only upon adoption of the new Zoning Maps for the City, and suspended all enforcement activity until such time as the Zoning Maps are operative. AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) The following Motion was then introduced: Minute Order No. 93-10. Matter of Appeal by Douglas T. Federighi of the Planning Commission's Denial of A-92-07; Re-Zone from the I-P (Industrial Park) District to the I-2 (General Industrial ) District; 2515 Through 2553 Williams Street, Douglas T. Federighi , Owner; and 2502 Williams Street, Associated Aerospace Activities, Owner; Located at the Northwesterly Corner of Williams Street and Aurora Drive; Assessor's Parcel Number 79A-541-17-2 and 18; Planning Commission Resolution of Intention No. 10-92-8. (1099) On motion by Council Member Faria, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council granted the Appeal for A-92-07 and re-zoned the property • to I-2, making the re-zoning ordinances operative only upon adoption of the new Zoning Maps for the City, and suspended all enforcement activity until such time as the Zoning Maps are operative. AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) Council Member Kerr noted it did not say in the Motion that the property will be zoned I-G. Mr. Meyers said the Minutes would reflect that, the way the Motion is drafted, the property essentially becomes I-G automatically, it never really becomes I-2.
