Council Member Perry said page 26 of the Minutes should have indicated hiring of the Disaster Preparedness staff member could be delayed for six months rather than six years. Mayor Karp noted the Minutes of March 22 did not state he was absent because he was in Washington, D.C. , attending Base Closure Hearings, working on a demonstration project for removal of dredge spoils for $3.6 million, and working on a stimulus package with Senators and the President's staff. The City Council approved the Minutes of March 15, 1993, as amended. A. Resolution Nominating and Appointing Member to the Youth Advisory Commission, District 6 - Randall Ong. The following Motion was introduced: Resolution No. 93-63, Resolution Nominating and Appointing Member to the Youth Advisory Commission, District 6 - Randall Ong. Resolution No. 93-64, Resolution Approving License Agreement with Thomas Outdoor Lighting (Gardco Lighting) for Overhead Communication Lines on Aladdin Avenue (allows Thomas Outdoor Lighting to continue to operate overhead communication lines across Aladdin Avenue) .
