Resolution No. 93-97, Resolution Calling a Public Hearing on the Adoption of the City Manager's Proposed Budget, Including Revenue Adjustments, 1993-94 Fiscal Year (sets Public Hearing on the proposed 1993-94 City Budget for June 14, 1993) . (1051) Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) D. An Ordinance of the City of San Leandro Amending Sections 6-4-100, 6-4- 400, and 6-4-405 of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Abatement of Abandoned Vehicles (amends the Municipal Code to read: "including highways" instead of "not including streets") . Bill Baptista, San Leandro Police Department, responsible for the Vehicle Abatement Program, said the administrator of the program is the California Highway Patrol , and they have requested that every city and county change the wording in their Ordinance from "excluding streets" to "including highways. " He said in the Vehicle Code streets and highways are synonymous. The following Ordinance was then introduced: Ordinance No. 93-010, An Ordinance of the City of San Leandro Amending Sections 6-4-100, 6-4-400, and 6-4-405 of the San Leandro Municipal Code Relating to Abatement of Abandoned Vehicles (amends the Municipal Code to read: "including highways" instead of "not including streets") . • (2698) Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved that it be passed to print, seconded by Council Member Corbett, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 )
