Ordinance No. 93-013, An Ordinance Adding Chapter 12, Title VII to the San Leandro Municipal Code Regulating Grading, Excavations, Fills, and Erosion and Pollutant Control Related Thereto (regulates grading, excavations, fills, erosion and pollutant controls in the City of San Leandro) . (1413) Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Faria ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) H. Ordinance No. 93-015, An Ordinance Relating to Vehicles and Traffic Control (U-Turns, 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) , Marina Boulevard, Title VI , Chapter 1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code (prohibits U-turns for westbound Marina' Boulevard traffic at Merced Street) . (1022) Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved that it be passed to print, seconded by Council Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Faria ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) 7. NEW BUSINESS A. Resolution Appointing Member to the Recreation and Parks Commission (District 1) - Joyce Rutledge. Council Member Nahm commented that Joyce Rutledge has a burning desire to give something back to the community, and he is proud and pleased to recommend her appointment to this position. Kathy Ornelas administered the oath of office to Joyce Rutledge as a Member of the Recreation and Parks Commission. Joyce Rutledge expressed her gratitude and congratulated Council Member Nahm on his new position as Council Member. She said she looks forward to working with each member of the Council and hopes she can continue to follow in Commissioner Nahm's footsteps. She also thanked her parents and family for being present.
