Resolution Amending Title 12, Chapter 6, Sections 12.6. 105(b) , <br /> 12.6. 105(c) , and 12.6.110 of the San Leandro Administrative Code <br /> Relating to Fees and Charges for Services Provided by the Building <br /> Regulations Division of the Development Services Department for <br /> Installation of Residential Security Lighting and Earthquake Gas Shut- <br /> Off Valves (amends the existing Administrative Code and suspends <br /> collection of permit, issuance, and fixture fees for 180 days for <br /> homeowners who install security lighting and creates a permanent <br /> exemption from fee payment for permit, issuance, and fixture fees for <br /> homeowners who install earthquake gas shut-off valves in order to <br /> encourage homeowners to obtain staff assistance and have the benefit of <br /> permits) . <br /> Mayor Faria said he thinks this is a good idea and is exactly what we <br /> are trying to do to make this program work.
