An Interim Ordinance Prohibiting the Processing and Approval of Use <br /> Permits, Variances, Building Permits, or Other Zoning Entitlements for <br /> Specified Business Establishments Which May Conflict with the Proposed <br /> Zoning Map Amendments and Declaring This Ordinance to Be an Urgency <br /> Measure Necessary for the Preservation of Public Peace, Health, and <br /> Safety (establishes land-use controls on certain uses until the Zoning <br /> Map becomes effective later in 1993) . <br /> City Attorney Steve Meyers said this is an urgency ordinance, requiring <br /> six votes.
